Placement Policy
1. Objective - The main objective of the Placement Cell is to provide suitable career opportunities to the students by completing the recruitment process in collaboration with various industrial companies.
2. Eligibility for Placement - Only final year and postgraduate students of all graduate classes will be considered eligible for placement.
- Academic - Students must have a minimum attendance percentage (e.g., 75%) as per the guidelines.
- Must have a minimum CGPA/percentage marks as prescribed by the placing company or institution.
3. Registration Process – Students interested in placement can get themselves registered with the Placement Cell by submitting the necessary documents (Resume, DMC, any of their achievements).
- The registered student should participate in the activities, discussions, training sessions and workshops conducted by the Placement Cell.
- After registration, the student should follow all the rules laid down by the placement cell.
4. Code of Conduct-
- The student will be required to maintain a professional appearance during the recruitment drive.
- The information entered in the resume or documents should be correct.
- Punctuality and adherence to the dress code during the interview will be mandatory.
5. Procedure for Application and Selection -
- A student can apply to more than one company.
- Students shortlisted by a company should attend the selection process.
- Once placed, students will be ineligible for further placement opportunities unless permitted under a special arrangement.
6. Job Offer Policy-
- Students should report within a specified time frame after receiving the offer from the company.
- A student who rejects the offer after acceptance may be barred from further placement opportunities.
7. Training and Skill Development -
- The Placement Cell may conduct training sessions on resume building, interview preparation, technical skills.
- Participation in mock interviews and aptitude tests is mandatory to be a part of the placement drive.
8. Company Interaction and Feedback -
- Students should not directly approach the recruiting companies without the Placement Cell.
- Feedback from the recruiters can lead to improvements in the placement.
9. Withdrawal from the placement process -
- A student who wants to withdraw from the placement should inform the Placement Cell.
- Students opting for higher studies or entrepreneurship should communicate their decision early.
